Remember when that was the big controversy around NASA?
Everyone wanted to know if astronauts were going to be able to have sex in space?
Why did we care?
Because we are all kinky that’s why.
And we all thought that NASA was going way overboard when they talked about giving everyone a libido suppression pill to ensure that no one got freaky on board a space station during an extended trip?
In fact, I said that it would do no good. That people have sex all the time when they aren’t sexually aroused.
Sometimes people have sex on general principle.
If I am on a space shuttle I am going to have sex just because I want to be one of the few people that can say that they had sex on a space station.
Well in light of what has happened surrounding the arrest of astronaut Lisa Nowak's on charges she tried to kill a romantic rival for another astronaut, maybe NASA knew what they are talking about?
Maybe they had an idea of what they were dealing with and we didn’t.
Nerd love is not something that many of us have first hand experience with, so maybe before we went ahead and commented on that we should’ve acknowledged that NASA has a lot more experience with this sort of thing than we do.
To us, this was just a question of simple sex.
We all have sex. We all know what it is like to be attracted to someone, even if they weren’t attracted back to us.
But maybe Nerd Love is far more complicated because let’s face it, combine the hormonal phenomenon that we all go through and mix that with 187 IQs and someone ends up driving 900 miles wearing a diaper, a wing and a trench coat to killing someone.
How amazing it must be to be able to have sex with someone and while cuddling afterwards actually discuss the theory of Quantum chromodynamics with someone that knows what you are actually talking about?
You just can’t put a price on that, can you?
The pool of people walking this earth that can actually wrap their minds around stuff like that is about as rare a woman who cooks and cleans.
I would wear a diaper and drive 900 miles to kill a romantic rival who wanted to take that away from me too.
