I don't understand why journalists are making such a fuss about this - Father Daniel

A Romanian nun, Maricica Irina Cornici died after being bound by chains to a cross, gagged and left to starve to death in a cold isolated room in a convent.
All this in an effort to drive the devil out of her, which at least in her case wasn’t the devil at all but her clinically diagnosed schizophrenia.
But see, the ass backwards don’t believe in such worldly concepts as mental illness.
Chalk that up as another reason why they are dangerous.
To them, demons are responsible for thunderstorms, not lower pressure systems.
Not enough prayer in your life causes depression, not some chemical imbalance in the brain.
Now if I am not mistaken isn’t this like the second day in a row that I have written an article about an isolated room?
First it was when American MPs beat the dog shit out of a U.S. soldier posing as a uncooperative Muslim detainee at Camp X-Ray that they had been told attacked an American Sergeant, and now this.
Note to self, stay clear of any isolated rooms designated for anything even slightly suspect.
And yeah, having an area of a prison specifically for kicking Taliban and Al-Qaeda asses is suspect as well as having an isolated room where you take nuns that have been possessed by the devil to be “exorcized”.
Although they never gave her any food, water or whatever throughout the entire exorcism they were performing Maricica didn’t starve to death, she died from asphyxiation.
So I guess the next time they perform a ritual maybe they shouldn’t push the towel they had in her mouth so deep into her throat.
Apparently she was possessed by the devil and crucifying her, literally, was part of the exorcism ritual.
The towel down her throat was to shut her the fuck up. I guess she was getting on their nerves when she kept insisting for her schizophrenia medication.
What is really messed up about all of this is that she actually only came to this convent to visit one of her nun friends.
The head priest at the convent apparently noticed symptoms of her schizophrenia and concluded as would any uneducated, superstitious, flat world, sun standing still man of the cloth that she was possessed by the devil.
I guess they must get training for that kind of stuff at ass backwards school.
The priest, still unable to grasp his mind around the concept of mental illness has shown absolutely no remorse what so ever.
"God has performed a miracle for her, finally Irina is delivered from evil," AFP quoted the priest as saying.
"I don't understand why journalists are making such a fuss about this. Exorcism is a common practice in the heart of the Romanian Orthodox church and my methods are not at all unknown to other priests," Father Daniel added.
When convicted, Father Daniel and the other nuns involved will all serve at least 20 years in prison for this murder.
And no doubt they will see their stint in prison as just the devil trying to test their faith in their lord Jesus.
They and their supporters will liken themselves to Paul while he was in a Roman jail blah blah blah blah.
