Condoleezza Rice scares me. She can explain away anything. Which means she must be pretty good at her job. That is her job isn't it?
In a press conference yesterday she actually blamed Iraq for our fucked up prewar Intelligence saying that it wasn't surprising that we were so wrong about Iraq because "Iraq is so secretive".
I'm sorry, so we only have accurate intelligence when countries are fourth coming with what they are doing behind closed doors?
That's nice.
Our fucking national security advisors come up with foreign policy based on a complex formula of one part what they can gather from CNN and part whatever information they can get out of foreign dignitaries after we get a few drinks in them.
She then went on to say that we will never learn the truth about Saddam's weapons of mass destruction program because of all of the looting that went on afterwards.
You remember the looting right? That was when people were hijacking pickup trucks and bringing millions of tons of nerve gas agents by the barrel back to their apartments and stockpiling them in their living rooms.
And frankly, all of this is just dumb when you consider that Dubya made it known to his cabinet members that he was planning on taking over Iraq only days after he took office.
Don't forget that. This is what the then governor of Texas had planned with his unelectable, walking heart attack running mate aka the evil genius behind the curtain, Dick Cheney the whole time they were running for the presidency.
So these numbskulls have had at least 3 years to come up with a legitimate reason for all of this. I am sure that whoever convinced the President to run with the WMD angle has lost his post.
So Dubya went ahead and invade Iraq without the UN because the danger that Iraq posed with its weapons of mass destruction program was an imminent threat to the America people.
Remember how since the UN didn't have "the courage" to back us it threatened to make them "irrelevant" on the world stage?
Now not only does the UN look smarter than us but it makes all the other assholes that were up there insisting that we knew what we were talking about look as ass backwards as we do.
Now that the top U.S. weapons hunter concluded Iraq had no stockpiles of biological or chemical weapons even Dubya has started to back away from his almost daily morning lying to the American people about how close we are getting to finding these stockpiles.
Still Dubya supporters which I am starting to really believe are either criminally uninformed or so intentionally ignorant to the point of being unqualified to vote, conveniently over look the facts.
Remember when it came out that when Dubya accused Iraq of purchasing African Uranium to make weapons of mass destruction that the documents that he cited in his state of the Union address were obvious forgeries?
How conveniently we forget. Well I didn't. That is what makes all of this latest admission of flawed American Intel just laughable. We knew it was then. It as reported as being such then.
Do Dubya supporters not know this information or did they just chalk all the unflattering information about Bush as another piece of the liberal conspiracy?
Is it just me or are Dubya supporters the same demographic that see the face of Jesus in the mold growing on the old bottle of Miracle Whip at the back of their refrigerator?
Why would Jesus send you a sign in the form of an eukaryotic organism growing under the lid of outdated sandwich spread?
The morning after Collin Powell presented wrong evidence to the UN he said on Meet the Press " It was the information that we had. We provided it. If that information is inaccurate, fine ," That's what Collin Powell said on NBC's "Meet the Press" the day after his big speech at the UN.
People this isn't news anymore.
This isn't news like Michael Jackson denying that he has had plastic surgery isn't news.
The actual news in all of this is that the Bush administration, just like Michael Jackson keep denying what they have done like we are stupid enough to believe what they tell us.
I guess they figure if we are stupid enough to keep asking the question then they are going to hold out hope that we are dumb enough to believe what they tell us.
Neither of them realizes that we are asking is what is called a rhetorical question . No answer is expected. We know the answer.
