The "plan" was to take the 10 million dollars they wanted the city to pay to get them to stop potshoting innocent people and open up a compound for 70 boys and 70 girls to create an army of super-bigots.
They were then going to send them out around the world like cape crusaders and bring about a "just" system.
They had planned to take the 10 million that I guess the government was supposed to leave in a mailbox by a pay phone and purchase land and equipment and whatever else they would need for this compound they would build.
When Malvo was told how insane it was to think
that he and John Allen Muhammad could change the world with only 140 "super bigots" Malvo quoted the character "Tizzy" of all people from the ABC television movie "Roots" who said " the system must change ."
These super-soldiers were according to Malvo begin reversing the enslavement and oppression of blacks throughout the world.
Notice they said "reversing" not putting an end to.
Reversing could mean going back and enslaving an oppressing your supposed oppressors. Which again I've always contended that if you truly understood how fucked up institutional racism is and how damaging it is to people then you wouldn't wish it on anyone. However, far too common is the attitude that oppression is a fucked up dish for you to have to eat but mighty appropriate to serve to someone else.

Evidently this is supposed to get a jury to believe that Muhammad had brainwashed Malvo with this idea of creating an army of super soldiers so thoroughly that Malvo was basically insane when he started picking people off at random last year. Good luck.

Malvo's defense team was also a bit taken back by how consumed he is about white/black racial issues considering that he was born and raised in predominantly black Jamaica but then again that shows the ignorance of his defense team.
Not everyone is so self-centered that they are only concerned about the problems that face them directly. Bob Marley the most famous Jamaican in the world next to Marcus Garvey also felt connected to the plight of people of African decent not only in the Americas but all over the world.
That part isn't strange to me, in fact it is normal. The part that's a little off, albeit also not unknown to me are the arguments that the "system must change" and that change must start with the children.that we brainwash in a compound somewhere.
