am starting to think Sobig.f was a terrorist attack.
Don't think so?
Then define terrorist attack.
It has taken down the computer systems for the US Navy, Marine Core,
Air Canada, Eastside Communications Center, responsible for dispatching
911 calls for Bellevue and Clyde Hill police in Oregon and several
dozen corporations world-wide.
I know that many of you have very limited definitions of terrorist.
I remember when I called the KKK a terrorist group after 9-11 how
many of you were offended that I was associating an organization that
tries to push its social political aims through firebombing, lynching
and intimidation with no good towel heads that try to advance their
political and social aims through bombings, assassination and intimidation.
What was I thinking?
Now I don't know if this is the work of some nerd trying to raise
awareness of the plight of the flat-spired three-toothed snail but
what I do know is that it's a blessing that Muslim fundamentalist
basically live in caves because if they had a clue how much damage
sending an infected file that says "click here" can do we
could be going through this shit every week.
I am getting like 400 e-mails an hour from this fucking virus, all
because people are either too fucking ignorant or too apathetic to
clean their systems.
It got so bad last night that I had to deflect some of the infected
e-mails to my deleted items folder by setting up a rule in my e-mail
program.
I couldn't take it anymore.
It took about 25 minutes just to download all of the mail waiting
for me in my inbox.
That is about 25 times longer than it normally takes.
If I asked you this question, "are you infected with the SoBig.f
virus?" if don't know for sure, "for sure" meaning
that you have run a virus scan on your system with the latest virus
definition file on your system, then consider yourself infected.
I have one thing to say to you all.
CLEAN YOUR SHIT!!!!!!
The virus can't spread if you dumb asses would just take the time
to fucking update the virus definitions on your god damn virus programs.
That is, if you even have virus software on your computer.
Evidently 62% of home computers don't have updated virus definitions
on their computers.
You are the fucking problem.
If buying weed is helping fund terrorism, then so are you lazy irresponsible
son-of-a-bitches that are too stupid to not click on a file from someone
that you don't know that says "you have been approved".
Approved for what bitch?
"I don't know, that is why I clicked on it."
Dumb ass.
Every one of you that pass along chain mail, screensavers, tired as
jokes, prayers, poems, videos, and sound files around the office every
morning are to blame.
Every one of you that pass along e-mails with that little message
at the bottom of the e-mail that read "please send this to 10
of your friends" or "if I get this back I will know that
you are truly my friend" are to blame.
You have a culture where all you do is pass all of your little infected
shit all over the internet.
I don't even read e-mail if it has "FWD" or "RE:"
in the header unless I can recall sending you the original e-mail.
They way I see it if you can't take the time to write me something
yourself then it isn't important enough for me to read.
And you know what? If you are thinking that this sobig.f virus and
all of this talk about updating the virus definitions on your system
has made the internet too complicated for you, then leave and don't
come back.
How long is it going to take for you little monkeys to learn that
you don't open attachments sent to you from addresses that you don't
recognize?

is expected to begin downloading a potentially malicious program from
20 computers whose locations are encrypted in the actual virus.
They believe that the computers are located in ASIA, CANADA and the
US.
They are frantically trying to locate these computers so that they
can take them offline.
From there they fear that your computer will start downloading a malicious
program which may erase all of the data on your system.
That is what the fuck you get.
Sometimes it takes something traumatic like that to get you to take
protecting your computer from viruses and not clicking on files sent
to you from people that you don't know to sink in. |
