 Michael Jackson's latest BBC interview is being sold as both a revealing as well as an unsettling interview with a "troubled but innocent genius".
Nice spin.
It should be billed as an interview with a musical phenom that obviously thinks we are blind, dumb, and as naive as he is.
Although I haven't seen it yet, I am sure it is unsettling.
I mean how could it not be?
Over the years, Michael Jackson as literally metamorphosed into an unsettling figure both literally as well as figuratively.
In regards to the literal portion, Michael claims that he has only undergone two operations on his nose and he says he did it so he could "breathe better so he could hit higher notes".
He also claims that he never had anything done to his face other than that.
Well the interview might be revealing but so much for truthful.
How the hell is reducing your nasal passages to a pair of slits actually helping you breathe? For those of you that don't remember, Michael Jackson was born with a nose that his face had to grow into. If he couldn't breathe through that nose then he needed a Bronchodilator not a nose job.
"I am telling you the honest truth," he said. "I didn't do anything to my face."
Yeah, ok.
He tells the journalist that conducts the interview Martin Bashir, best known for the interview he did with Princess Diana in which she admitted to cheating on Prince Charles, that those little blonde-hair, blue-eyed white kids that he calls "his" children, at least one of them are a product of his sperm and a surrogate mother's egg.
The other two he claims he actually did the deed himself.
Yeah, ok.
That is a hell of a case of Vitiligo you've got there Mike.
Where did you get that strand from al-Qeada? That shit is so powerful that it enabled your black ass father white children?
So far, I understand the troubling part; now let's move on to the unsettling part.
Michael openly admits to still having children who regularly sleep over at his house with him in his bed.
Jacko fans out there please spare me the "I am proud that Mike isn't going to let the public's perception that he is a freak with an unnatural love of children dissuade him from sleeping with children in his own bed".
I've got two words for you -- Pete Townshend.
If Mike was to be accused again of touching a child inappropriately, there wouldn't be a jury in America that could give him a fair trial.
He says in the interview that he identifies with Peter Pan for Christ's sakes.
I'm at a loss. I didn't know that Peter Pan was such a multi-faceted character with so many dimensions and range of depth that a 45-year-old black man could identify with him...ur, her…uh, it.
He says "I have slept in a bed with many children, when you say `bed,' you're thinking sexual," Jackson said. "It's not sexual, we're going to sleep. I tuck them in ... It's very charming, it's very sweet."
Dude.
Maybe he is more naive than any of us thought.
The Sun said the "shocking confession" would end Jackson's career, while the Daily Express said Jackson "faces a wave of revulsion."
If Mike has so many people around him that care about him and love him then why isn't someone telling him to go get some fucking help?
The problem isn't that you doing anything sexual with the Culkin brothers when they are in the bed with you.
The problem is that they are in the bed with you.
Apparently that doesn't sink in because it must be such a pleasure to share his bed with kids that not doing it isn't an option. And any adult that thinks it is that fucking important that sleep with kids in the same bed with them has got issues.
People that think like Mike tend to go off to little resorts off the coast of Thailand and do their thing were it is practically legal.
Maybe Mike just doesn't know what a real childhood is because he never had one, but someone needs to tell him, for those of us that actually had the childhood that he so desperately wishes he had that they weren't filled with nights that I spent in bed with other adults.
The only 45-year-olds that still played jump rope and kick the can with us all day and then wanted to sleep over when we were kids were retarded…literally.
Mike maintained his innocence on the whole molestation thing, but became visibly upset when Bashir asked about the case, saying he had paid the family to avoid "a long, drawn-out thing on TV like O.J." Simpson.
