A Japanese man proposed to his girlfriend (this woman) just three hours after she confessed to him that she had killed the woman that he had been cheating on her with.
He proposed to her not out of fear for his life as you might've assumed. No, he proposed to her because "I was moved by Kaneda's love, which was deep enough to kill Miss Nagata for me. Proposing to her was my way of rewarding her love."

The grandfather of 23-year-old Nagata did not hide his frustration when a Shincho reporter interviewed him. "It's bullshit. How dare they say they want to lead a happy life?
