There is not much that I hate more than frivolous lawsuits. I think that there should be a law that says that if a judge tosses out your bullshit lawsuit than you are legally responsible for any and all court costs for both sides.
Like when Ed O’Rourke claimed that he was ``unable to control his urge to drink alcoholic beverages.'' And sued the local bars in his area for selling him beer. How about giving these people that bring up these lawsuits a choice of taking a bullet in the leg instead of paying the court costs if it gets tossed out. The city could make their money back by selling the pay-per-view.
We need to get a handle on these pussies that know that they can file a lawsuit against you and fuck you up whether you win the case or not. That is too much power for someone to have.
Here is a classic example.
A woman named Linda Wallace wants more than $2 trillion from Rocky River. Since July 1998, Linda Wallace has filed three lawsuits against Rocky River, claiming everything from false arrest to injury of reputation. She serves as her own attorney.
As a result, Rocky River has had to spend time and money defending itself. Wallace sued the city, several police officers, Prosecutor Gary Hotz and two private citizens after a police report was filed alleging her "delinquent" teenage son hit his grandmother. Wallace demanded $500 billion in compensatory damages and $500 billion in punitive damages.

Two weeks before that complaint, Wallace sued a police officer who cited her for disturbing the peace. She demanded the same damages, totaling $1 trillion.
"Each time someone sues us, the law director has to spring into action," Mayor Don Umerley said, noting Law Director David Matty is paid hourly to work on lawsuits, which are not covered by his salary. "It can cost thousands of dollars, even in a frivolous case."
A year earlier, Wallace demanded $7 million because she was "maliciously prosecuted" and "falsely arrested" on an assault charge.
Now, Law Director David Matty is seeking payback. In a counter suit filed last week against this bitch with the Cuyahoga County Court of Common Pleas, Matty said he wants Judge Mary Jane Boyle to dismiss Wallace’s claims, order Wallace to reimburse the city for legal fees and pay damages in excess of $25,000.
