Al Gore, trying not to lose any votes that he might be able to get in this entire Alien Elian drama and trying not to give Bush any ground, came out and said that he was opposed to the federal government’s position that Elian should be immediately returned to his father. It looks like it is going to cost him. 21.7% of voters surveyed said that they were less likely to vote for Gore as a result of his brain dead statements. Maybe this guy doesn’t just look wooden.

Only 5.9% said that they were more likely to vote for Gore because of his opposition to returning Elian to his father.  Al Gore can’t be trusted to formulate his own opinions and win this election over Bush. The Cuban exiles in Miami are die hard fucking Republicans, it is one of their strongest strong holds in America, they weren’t going to vote for you anyway Gore, why even try to win them over? 

It’s like Record companies complaining that if we download MP3’s we won’t buy the album, well, what if I wasn’t going to by the album anyway, then you aren’t losing any money by me downloading it, are you? They weren’t going to vote for you anyway so why are you going to show that you have as little common sense as they have. Unless in case Gore is just that stupid. If this is true, Democrats need to find another “puppet” to blow past whatever ultra-conservative, religious right wing, racial-separatists, homophobe the Republicans nominate as their leader in November.
