Bush is full of bullshit if he thinks that granting a reprieve to allow DNA tests on a convicted murderer in Texas is going to dupe voters into thinking that he is a…what does he call himself again? A Compassionate conservative that it. That is what he calls himself isn’t it? Bush as governor of Texas has killed 131 convicted murderers, more than any other governor in American history.

The 218 Texas executions since 1982 account for more than one-third of all executions in the country since the Supreme Court allowed capital punishment to resume in 1976. Bush has handed out 131 of them. He carried out 35 executions last year and 19 already this year. It’s only June. This sounds all good that Bush is concerned about using DNA to prove someone’s innocence; however, Bush has rejected similar calls from death penalty opponents in Texas before so what is so unique about this guy who’s guilt for the murder of his 12-year-old step daughter is not in question? It is whether or not he raped her too!

Like I said, in this particular case, Bush has postponed the execution of a man convicted of using an ax to kill his 12-year-old stepdaughter. The reason it was postponed is to see if the guy actually raped the girl as well as killed her. Who gives a fuck if he raped her? He killed her. There is no capital punishment for rape in Texas.

Why don’t we post-pone the execution until we give him a lie detector test to see if he lied to her as well! Here is the answer. I guess in Texas, under the particulars or this case you must have committed an accompanying felony in order to make the crime eligible for the death penalty.All this so Bush can try to soften his image and appeal to voters that think the death penalty is barbaric anyway. Why doesn’t he just stand up for what he believes in? Bush thinks it makes him a cowboy to execute criminals. It has been his badge of honor in Texas for years. You don’t kill 131 people on accident. He has been running an execution factory down there in Texas. Voters already know what he is about, I say he should just wear his stripes and accept the image he built for himself. All this is going to do is make all of his other bloodthirsty constituents think he has grown soft, a bird in the hand Mr. Bush is worth more than 2 in the Bush.
