Hopefully, this will put an end to the debate on just how violent a society it is that we live in here in the United States.

In a free society, one must constantly weigh between the conservancy of their privacy rights and their personal safety. When you board a plane, you sacrifice your right to not be searched without probable cause, for the security of knowing that their isn’t a fuel air bomb sown into the stomach of a crash test dummy posing as a passenger in the seat behind you. 

Most people can deal with that. That sounds like a fair exchange for most people.
Well, there is a community of retirees and golfers outside of Tucson Arizona called Green Valley. This community is the home of about 25,000 people, and roughly seven golf courses. Known for its low crime rate, these old bastards feel relatively safe here in Green Valley from the crime so common to inner-city poverty.
However, in America, one need not live in Compton to be witness to a drive by shooting. However, you might have to live in Green Valley if you wanted to see a drive-by shooting from in a bright orange and red, modified, gasoline-engine-powered Yamaha golf cart.

Yes, Keith Livsey is now being held without bail in the Pima Country Jail, pending a court appearance because he was mad at his girlfriend, jumped inside his modified, bright orange and red painted gasoline-engine-powered Yamaha golf cart, drove past his ex-girlfriends home and fired a gun. The Citizen is reporting that not only does the golf cart look loud, but it is louder than most and everyone heard it coming down the street long before they actually saw Livsey.

Livsey admitted to police of firing shots at his ex-girlfriends house from his golf cart.
The House was not hit and no one was hurt, but it was not for a lack of trying. Livsey was drunk off his ass.
See, this is why gun control advocates want less guns available to the public. Until yesterday, this guy was who the NRA would prop up as a law abiding citizen with a right to own a handgun. Today he is a drunk golf cart cruisin’ drive by shooter that could’ve killed someone.
I guess until it hits home in Green Valley, middle America just doesn’t listen.
