Man attacks Car wearing a hospital gown and wielding a chainsaw
Kara Swenson told police exactly what happened as she remembered it. She was driving along the road when a man jumped in front of her vehicle wearing a hospital gown. She slammed on the brakes, stopping just short of running him over.
What did he do then Ms. Swenson?
``He took this Samurai pose,' and he was waving this chain saw around, but I was too stunned to notice if it was running. He was looking right at me, just waving it around.''
She went home and called the police and when the police showed up at that exact spot where she claimed the incident took place they found 19-year-old Micah Peterson standing by the road with the chain saw.
``Dude, all of us were just playing a joke in the street,'' Peterson said Monday. ``We just wanted to see how people would react.'' Peterson said that he and several friends had been inspired by a cable television show…once again I will give you time to guess which one.
Peterson said the plan originally involved a friend tipping over a wheelchair on the road, and that he decided to add a welding mask and the chain saw to the routine.
Washington County sheriff's deputies confirmed that the saw hadn't been running, noting in a report that the tool was cold and wet when they took it. They ended the stunt and issued Peterson a citation for disorderly conduct.
