Repo man sentenced to 10 years in prison For Towing Van with crying children Inside
Everyone with bad credit should appreciate this one.
It takes a special kind of person to be a repo man. Just like it takes a special kind of person to be a lawyer. Some jobs are hard to fill because what you are being asked to do takes a person of very low character. Not that there is a drought out there of people with low moral character, its just people like that are often times not the kind of people that are walking the pavement putting in applications for work. Not everyone can turn someone's heat off or toss someone out on the curb in the middle of the winter. That is why it is always nice to have a pool of ex-convicts looking for work. Somebody has to do the job right?

A former repo man Ryan Beene was sentenced to 10 years in prison for towing an Oldsmobile van with two children almost at near hysteria crying inside and a 6-foot man in the front seat honking his horn.
Ryan Beene acknowledged that he towed the van two miles with its wheels locked; smoke billowing from its tires.
But he insisted that he never saw the children in the back seat or the 6-foot-tall family friend in the front seat.
Assistant District Attorney Jay Lapham asked Jonathan Williams, who rode in the tow truck with Beene, how he failed to notice the people inside the van.
""You didn't see a 6-foot man in the passenger seat of that van?" he asked.

"Nope." Williams said.

Why didn't anyone check for passengers before driving off?

"Well, if they were my kids, I'd have got them out," Williams said.

"You heard them honk, right?" Lapham asked.
"Not till we were going down the road."

"Wouldn't that indicate that someone was in the van?" Lapham asked.

"I don't repo cars. I build swimming pools," Williams replied.

Beene, who towed the van was already on probation. He was convicted of hitting a woman so hard that she needed reconstructive surgery on her face.

The mother of the children testified that she screamed for her children, only to have another tow truck employee reply, "Too bad. You were warned," before the tow truck drove away.

There would've always been work for people like Beene In the wild west. Most of the time they were called Sheriff.
