Many top psychologists say that after a certain age people cannot learn certain emotions like compassion or remorse. That if as a child you miss that train when it is your turn to board it can't come around again. Well if research can prove that is in fact a fact, I don't think I have a problem putting down a child that has a 9 and 10 chance of only growing up to violently prey on society.

Fuck whatever fiscal reasons you might have for executing or not executing someone. I don't care how much it costs to keep them locked up, or how much it costs to execute them; I just don't want to give them a chance to create new victims. To prevent that is priceless if you ask me.

It is worth whatever the cost.
And I reject this argument that he or she is a human being and that qualifies them to some level of humane treatment from society. Whoever said that it was true that we are only as civilized as we treat our shit? There has to be more to being a human being than having a heartbeat. There must be some criterion that reflects the humanity in a person that is so worthy of this "humane treatment" that some people demand we give.

You say that the state doesn't have the right to take a life. I say the state has the right to protect itself. In our system the state is made up of citizens. Our citizens live under the expectation of enjoying certain "privileges" like life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

So when you break it down, when you are a menace to society you are actually a treat to the common citizen, and if the state has a right to protect itself it starts there. Life long incarceration is not suffice for someone that is incapable of rehabilitation. That goes against the nature of the penitentiary and in my opinion. In my world the reason for the existence of the penitentiary should be to rehabilitate.
Just like if you earn over a level of income a year you don't qualify for food stamps, if you are too fucked up you don't qualify for the penitentiary.
Rehabilitation is only an option for those who can be brought back into society and contribute.
A person incapable of remorse is incapable of rehabilitation I am sorry, they need to be put down.
Here is a recent example.
An 8-year old boy who already has several prior offenses on his record which include burglary and arson now sits in a Juvenile Detention on animal cruelty charges. This 8-year-old boy was angry at a neighbor Mildred Mills for chasing him out of her yard took her 2-year-old Persian cat and threw it in a neighbors fenced in yard with three large dogs. In the yard was a Chow, a Rottweiller and a Collie mix, each dog weighed between 50 and 60 pounds.
The boy watched the dogs chase down and violently tear the cat apart. He watched the cat die and then ran away.

"He threw the cat in there knowing full well the cat would not get out, could not get out and would not live to see another day," said sheriff's spokesman Kirk Englehardt.

The cat, Smokey, once belonged to the deceased daughter of Mildred Mills and Mills had been caring for it.
Englehardt said the owner of the dogs found the cat and buried it, but neighborhood children told Mills what had happened.
