Anthony Correnti was a journalism teacher at the Environmental Studies High School at 444 W. 56th St. in Manhattan. I say was because he quickly resigned from the position after it came out that while a teacher there he had fucked two of his female students. He had fucked them together, as in a three-some and they allowed him to videotape the entire act. At the time both girls were 14, they are now 16. When called in to face the allegations, Correnti elected to resign by telephone on Sept. 7, 1999.

However the videotape wasn't actually discovered until he was brought to the attention of the police after the parents of a 13-year-old showed detectives an e-mail of a nude young woman that Correnti had sent their daughter. They later discovered that Correnti had met the 13-year-old not once but twice and had sex with her on both occasions.

Tracing his e-mail led police to his home and among other things; they found the videotape of he and his former students fucking in the classroom where he taught. The girls on the tape admitted to police to having sex with Correnti. When asked how all of this started the two girl said that it all started with them talking with him about Internet pornography when one of the girls jokingly said she and her boyfriend made a homemade video of their having sex.

The students later told investigators that Correnti then offered that he had naked pictures of himself. One of the girls said that on at least five occasions over the next month, Correnti approached her and asked about her homemade videotape and offered her a grade of 100 if she let him watch it.

Investigators interviewed Correnti, who admitted to having a conversation about Internet pornography and talking with the student about a nude video she had of herself. Although he admitted his conduct was improper, Correnti said his conversations with the girl were meant only as a "joke".

Police investigators on the case wrote of Correnti, "it is clear that he does not know how to conduct himself when interacting with students," and recommended that he be fired but didn't find any criminal wrongdoing. They had not been tipped off by Correnti nor the girls that they had fucked and that he had a videotape of the entire event.
