If politicians want to ban books like the “The Catcher in the Rye” and complain that what children are watching on television and hearing in raunchy rap lyrics is the cause for crime in America, why don’t they start with what kills more people a year than any episode of the A Team ever will…the Bible.
I am willing to bet that nearly every single week in this country, somebody will read a chapter in Nehemiah or Ezekiel, jump up off the couch, grab a kitchen knife and kill his whole family in their sleep. Today Sheriff Deputies found Aurelia Lange lying on the bathroom floor with her head cut off laying next to her lifeless body. Her teenage son was nearby, naked, covered in blood, calmly flipping through pages in his Bible.
Investigators say that they have a strong suspicion that he cut his mother’s head off with a kitchen knife. This happened in Delhi, you might remember the name of this town from last month when some redneck killed two children with a pitchfork after he broke into their farmhouse.
In the pitchfork killings, investigators incorrectly jumped to the conclusion that drugs drove a man to break into the farmhouse and kill the children. He was shot and killed by police before they got a chance to ask him. However, tests later concluded that there was no evidence of drugs or alcohol. He, too, was well read on his Bible.
Like last month, investigators are also hoping that drugs can be blamed in this homicide. My question is this, if two kids can shoot up their high school dressed in trench coats and they blame it on a video game they liked to play, why can’t they blame this decapitation and the pitchfork killings on the Bible that these fucks liked to read?
Why don’t I see a public outcry for this shit? How come I don’t see parental warning labels being pasted all over copies of the King James Version?
When anyone suggest we blame the Bible for the actions of these two individuals and the many more like them in America, people immediately ignore you and instead look for another cause like drug use or the ever popular “insanity plea”. However, you know as well as I do, that if this bastard was sitting on his computer checking out 8BM.com when the police walked in and saw his mom’s head rolling around on the bathroom floor, they would be calling for this site to be shut down by Friday afternoon.
