RAW DOGMA                                                                           written by Nkrumah Steward
The Asteroid That Hit Northern Russia Could've Awoke The Dead
Like the sperm that makes the journey to the egg, a tiny but determined meteorite made its way through our atmosphere and into pay dirty striking a forest in a remote area of Russia.
Residents in the town of Bodaibo, in the Irkutsk region of Siberia, saw a large luminous body falling from the sky then disappear into the trees.
The impact was immediately followed by a flash of bright light and a tremor comparable to an earthquake.
It reportedly even knocked some people off their feet and out of their chairs.
Asteroid expert Dr Benny Peiser, from Liverpool John Moore's University, said: "If the eyewitness accounts are confirmed, this fact of an earth tremor together with thunder-like explosive sounds would indicate a rather significant impact event."
At least 30 times a year, asteroids smash into our atmosphere and explode with the force of a nuclear bomb. The asteroid that landed in Russia in 1908 never even made it to the ground. It exploded in the atmosphere.
This smaller asteroid, like the one that we believe hit Russia was probably between 200 and 500 meters wide. They could easily demolish a city with a direct hit or cause tidal waves capable of wiping out entire coastal areas if they land in the ocean.
Astronomers estimate there could be between 900 and 1,300 large asteroids measuring one kilometer or more in our part of the solar system. Those are the kind that wiped out the dinosaurs for those of you that believe in dinosaurs.
The amount of asteroids that they estimate could destroy an entire city could amount to 50,000. However that is just a guess. They don't really know how many they are out there because they don't have any funding to count them.
