During a GOP fund-raising dinner in Houston Bush interjected a poignant familial reference into his standard recitation of the Iraqi dictator's evil ways.
"There's no doubt his hatred is mainly directed at us," Bush said.
"There's no doubt he can't stand us. After all, this is a guy that tried to kill my dad at one time."
Now it's starting to all make sense.
Nelson Mandela said two weeks ago that the biggest threat to world peace right now is the United States of America. Mandela said Bush's belligerent policy toward Iraq was an effort to appease the oil and arms
industry.
The very next week Justice Minister Herta Daeubler-Gmelin of German equated Dubya's sudden "hard on" for Saddam Hussein with Adolph Hitler's making war with his neighbors to deflect attention from his own
domestic troubles.
I am seeing a common theme here.
Just the week before that Bush came out with this new military policy where we strike anyone, anywhere at anytime we want because "we have it like that".
Now let me get this straight, we are going to go to war with Saddam because he has weapons of "mass destruction".
These wouldn't be the very same "weapons of mass destruction" that we have?
Ok, so just having weapons of mass destruction isn't a crime per se; otherwise we would be just as guilty as he is of whatever we say he is guilty of right?
I figure it must be cool to simply have "weapons of mass destruction" since I don't see us letting UN weapons inspectors walk around our top secret military-research facilities. So I am guessing here that there must be another component to all of this that I am missing.

Now I'll give you this much, maybe Hussein is a dark Jedi or whatever Dubya is calling him this week. It can't only be because Hussein has "weapons of mass destruction". It must be also because he is willing to use them... like Israel.
Good thing Israel isn't itching to nuke anybody. (feel the sarcasm)
Fact: The United States has every single weapon Hussein supposedly has, as well as all of the weapons that he apparently wants to get his hands on.

Maybe he is just jealous.

However I think that it is more realistic that if someone was threatening me and I knew they had a gun I would consider it imperative that I get a gun.
What did Iraq ever do to become the preferred whipping post for every American President who wants to turn our attention away from a string of bad Gallup polls?

The Bush Administration keeps saying that Saddam is a threat to the free world because he has biological and chemical weapons.
Although no one from the UN has ever found any of these weapons we know that he has them.
No shit he has them.
We were the motherfuckers that sold him the shit in the first place to start developing his fucking biological-chemical weapons program. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention sent samples directly to several Iraqi sites that U.N. weapons inspectors determined were part of Saddam Hussein's biological weapons program 20 years ago. He began this shit with our full blessing.
Evidently it was ok to sell him biological weapons when he was going to use them against other towel heads, but apparently it is now a crime to have them if he is planning on attacking one of our puppet governments over there.
If it's a crime to have them, when did we destroy our surplus? Oh yeah we just hold on to our supply of anthrax, small-pox, and "lord only knows what the fuck else" for "research" purposes.
Take notice, all allies of the United States of America; anything we sell you today, can and will be used against you to gain few percentage points in the opinion polls at a later date.

Why do I get the feeling that if this administration had pulled Osama Bin laden out of one of those caves butt naked, unplugged his dialysis machine and had him on trial right now, this administration wouldn't be saying two words about Saddam Hussein?
They say that it will cost this country roughly 9 billion dollars a day to fight Iraq.
That is how much Dubya is willing to spend in order to show progress in his war against terror.
Is it finally sinking in?
There is no al-Qaeda army. For all you know you're already surrounded by al-Qaeda. They are all posing as gas station and party store clerks all around your neighborhood selling you junk food and beer laced with the same shit they have been killing you with for the past 60 years.
There is no land of al-Qaeda.
We can't go send in troops to occupy the republic of al-Qaeda.
You have just as much of a chance at looking like you have accomplished absolutely nothing in a war against terror as you do looking like an honorary member of the Justice League when it is all said and done. You don't have anything to show the American people when you are fighting terror. Half the fucking time you are running around trying to preventing shit from happening. When you are doing your job - nothing happens.

You take your safety for granted. Until you lose it, or it is threatened you don't even notice that you're safe. That is what this administration is up against. So they are planning on countering this problem with setting tangible goals like beating the shit out of Iraq against the wishes of the world community at large in hopes that people will forget that the economy is shit.
Fact: Dude you could beat up the Legion of Doom on prime-time television. When it comes time to votes, if people don't have more money in their pockets then than they did the last time they squeezed into one of those antiquated voting booths they pull the lever for the other guy.
