RAW DOGMA                                                                           written by Nkrumah Steward
Missing Earth "Planet V" Was Eaten Alive by Sun
If you could live to see a million years pass on the earth but if it could only feel like a normal 365 day 12 month year, you would literally witness an Extinction Level Event every 36 days.

If that were the case I seriously have my doubts that you would feel that this planet is the kind of place you would want to settle down and raise kids.

Thank you Jesus for our measly finite lives.

It is only because we humans only seem to be able to squeeze about 75 years at a time out of these bodies of ours that we consistently to fail to see the big picture, at least in the cosmic scheme of things.

For example, in a million years time how many ice ages would you had lived to have seen? Let's see, there is one every 22,000 years... so that would be about 45 of them or one every 8 days.

Now for the sake of argument I will intentionally leave out the truly "fucked up once in a planets lifetime" shit like the ocean floor suddenly cracking open and releasing a huge methane gas bubble killing 99% of all ocean life in seconds.

That happened by the way.

I won't even mention shit like that because that is wildcard shit. For the sake of my argument I will stick to the everyday common run of the mill catastrophe that threatens all of us with extinction every month or so.

So if you could live to see 1 million years of earth life go by, but to you if felt like just one 12 month year approximately every 36 days you would see damn near everything on the planet get wiped the fuck out, just to come back and get it all over again in 5 weeks.

And people wonder why God doesn't bother to get too attached to us.

Life might be one resilient son of a bitch, but there are some things life can't even overcome.
Just to put things in perspective for us Scientists are now saying that our solar system may have once had an extra Earth-like planet in it at one time.
Yeah, so what happened to it?
Evidently it was eaten up by the Sun.
See what I mean?
God doesn't answer prayers all that often because there must be some part of him that doesn't expect us to be around by the time he gets the chance to call us back. Do you blame him?
Scientist are saying that it was smaller than the earth, probably had liquid water and orbited just outside Mars. Unfortunately for it, and us at the time, this planet nicknamed "Planet V", was so screwed up by the pull of the other planets that it eventually was pushed through the asteroid belt, sending a shit load of asteroids crashing into the moon and the earth about 3.9 million years ago and was eaten alive by our sun.
I didn't even know our sun could do some shit like that.
same difference
Asteroid May Miss Earth After All. What Asteroid?
Why their Second calculations are always better than the original ones.

Asteroid That Missed Earth Could've Wiped Out A City. Thank God We Saw It 4 Days Later huh?
An asteroid large enough to obliterate a city the size of Orlando passed within 288,000 miles of the Earth without being noticed by astronomers until four days later. Way to stay on top of things fellas.
