Scientists Find Jurassic Age Dinosaur Vomit. How Is That Possible?
I need something explained to me.
A team of British scientist found the oldest piece of fossilized vomit ever found.
160 Million years ago some giant marine reptile threw up and we found it. That is amazing to me. How many pounds of vomit must you throw up for us to find it 160 million years later?
Human beings are most impressive when we have too much time on our hands. I have to be honest with you. I have never seen a fossil in my life that was in the least bit distinguishable from everyday - nothing special - rock. To me "petrified" means rock. A Petrified tree is a rock that is shaped like a tree.
I watch those discovery channel shows and those scientists are out there in the desert with their brushes meticulously sweeping the dirt off those alleged "fossils" and claiming that they are elbows, and pieces of fingernails. No wonder Jesus freaks find it so difficult to believe in science.
What makes this so unbelievable to me is that not only did they find the dinosaur vomit but they found the shit that it had eaten still stuck in it.
Which is just gross.
Apparently when they looked at it they could tell what it was because of the way the belemnite shells were scattered throughout it. A microscopic examination also showed the shells had been etched by stomach acid from the digestive fluid of the marine creature. I am assuming that this Ichthyosaur thing they claim that it came from threw up while it was under water. Doesn't vomit disperse underwater? What is the constitution of dinosaur vomit anyway? It must have the consistency of Spidy's web fluid.
Which is just gross.
